The creation of Future Art: where creativity meets technology:

"We’re both collectors at heart. For me, it’s always been vinyl, and for Myles, it’s contemporary art. So when the world shut down in 2020, we did what came naturally: we built something new. What began as a small idea to hang some of Myles’ crypto art collection in a café quickly grew into a full-scale, three-day digital art festival at Paddington Town Hall. That first Future Art brought projections, AR, VR, and live electronic music together under one roof, and the energy in the room made it clear we were onto something.

Future Art grew out of music and creativity, and that’s always been our heartbeat. I’ve spent over two decades on stage and in studios as an artist, producer, and one of the founding members of The Potbelleez, and Myles has been right there driving the business and creative direction of that journey. Together, we’ve always been drawn to the place where technology meets culture.

From there, the momentum just took off. We were invited to Vivid Sydney, took the concept to Pacha Ibiza and IMS Ibiza, showed work at Art Basel Miami, and even brought Future Art to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. It’s been an organic, sometimes chaotic evolution, but the mission has stayed the same: merging our creative roots with emerging technology and creating meaningful, immersive experiences that connect people to art in ways they’ve never felt before"

Curatorial Philosophy:

We keep it deceptively simple: the art has to belong in the space - and elevate it. Whether that’s a corporate lobby, a gallery, or an underground club, it’s about resonance and relevance. The work needs to make people stop, even for a second, and feel something - curiosity, calm, wonder. We think less in terms of “art on walls” and more in terms of “energy in space.”

Artist & Technology Selection:

"Every space has its own rhythm, and every project starts with the brief and the environment. We look for artists who experiment, who use technology as part of their storytelling rather than decoration. The tech itself, whether it’s AR, LED screens, or mixed-media, is always a tool to enhance the human experience. Our curations aim to push the envelope, but with intention. It’s innovation with soul, not just spectacle."

Curating for our shared spaces:

"We don’t see them as lobbies, we see them as epic common spaces at scale, and that’s a dream for us. These are vast, architectural canvases where art can become part of a building’s identity, not just something that hangs on a wall. Our goal is to shift the energy of these spaces to turn what might be a transitional zone into a daily experience that surprises, inspires, and connects people to something deeper."

Drawcard to Anya Pesce's work for this quarter's rotation:

"Sydney legend Anya Pesce has an extraordinary ability to transform space, her works don’t just hang about, they move you. There’s a physical, almost emotional resonance in the way she bends material, colour, and light into sculptural forms. They shift the atmosphere of a room, invite reflection, and create a sense of energy and optimism that lingers long after you’ve walked past."
