How a curated exhibition programme transformed a Sydney foyer

What happens when a corporate lobby stops behaving like a pass-through… and starts acting like a gallery?

At George Place in Sydney, Future Art and CBRE’s experience team set out to reimagine the foyer as something more than a waiting area, a living, evolving cultural space. The result was Future Visions: a curated program blending physical artworks, large-scale digital installations, and augmented reality into a single, seamless experience.

Running from October 2025 to March 2026, the exhibition brought together leading artists across digital and physical practice, transforming the space into a layered environment where paintings moved, screens breathed, and art didn’t just sit on walls, it interacted with the architecture, the audience, and the rhythm of the building itself.

    Conversations from 477 Pitt St

    The Vision Behind Future Art

From the Tech Central lobby of 477 Pitt Street, we sit down with CBRE’s Experience team to unpack the shift from static spaces to living experiences.

From the origins of Future Art, grounded in music, collecting, and emerging technology, to large-scale activations in the built environment, the conversation explores how curation, physical/digital art and storytelling transform everyday spaces into something people actually feel.
